Seal Design provides cushioning solutions tailored to your exact needs. We fully fabricate foam products at our Elkhart, Indiana facility in custom shapes, including die-cuts, cut rolls, kiss cuts, reels and specialty foams. As a fabricator we take the stock material from inventory and cut it to your needs, fabricate it together with the roll adhesive, package and ship to your location exactly when you need it. Each fabricated foam product is custom fabricated to meet the exact requirements of each customer’s production process, whether it be reels, cut rolls or kiss cut products, we deliver what’s best for you.

Materials

	Our best seller. Neoprene/EPDM/SBR blend. Passes SCE 41 and SCE 42, 2A1, gaskets and weather stripping. 1/32" to 1" in black or gray, plain or with a pressure sensitive adhesive.
	Colored felt in too many colors to list. 50% wool and 50% rayon. Comes in 3/64" thickness only. Yes this is the material on pool tables. PSA available.
	EVA or Ethyleene Vinyl Acetate is light weight yet very resilient. Excellent corrosion and weather resistance. Also, great flame resistance and lastly has great tear resistance. PSA available.
	PVC closed cell Polyvinyl Chloride foam, good load bearing qualities. Forms a permanent and positive water proof seal. All resistances are good to excellent. Gray or Black. PSA available.
	Butyl has a low permeability to air. Excellent dielectric properties. Good weather resistance. Excellent Ozone resistance.
	Hook and Loop, just like burrs grab onto anything, these synthetic hooks aggressively grab fabric loops. Uses range from hanging pictures to holding down tarps, or even locking phones to desks.
	Santoprene® has good oil, solvent, and chemical resistance. Weathers well. Good electrical insulator. Has a great non-skid surface for the bottom of lamps, trophies and so on.
	All Natural Cork is great for gaskets in low pressure situations. Temperature range -20° to +180°F. Resists oil, water, acid, salts and detergents. PSA available.
	Crosslinked polyethylene sometimes called Volara® is known for joining 2 different types of material. It is closed cell so it resists dust and moisture, and absorbs vibration well. Thicknesses are 1/32", 1/16" and 1/8". In black and white. PSA available.
	Red and Silver reflective material is a must to the trucking industry. Legislation passed in the late 90's requires that all trucks on the road have these reflectors all the way around the trailer.
	Polyurethane Ether is highly compressible and resilient open cell foam that forms a tight seal on metal, wood, plastic and glass. Once pressure is removed it quickly springs back to its original shape. Foam is moisture absorbent. Packing and insulating.
	Delrin® is wear and moisture resistant, can be used in pumps and valve components, gears and bearings. In thin form it is the #1 material used for guitar picks. PSA available.
	Cork and sponged synthetic rubber can be fabric reinforced for stability. Great for non-skid applications. 1/32" to 1/8" thick. Color is tan and black.
	Polyester (PET) wear resistant and FDA approved. Uses are values, food handling and printing equipment. Can also be used as a heated bonding media for teflon belting. PSA available.
	Fish paper or vulcanized hard fibre is widely used as electrical insulating barriers and as shim gaskets. Great tensile strength. Thickness range .005" to 1/32" in green. PSA available.
	Red silicone rubber has the temp range of -100° to +500°F. Great sealing properties also available in sponge, fiberglass reinforced sponge and solid sheets. Returns to original shape quickly. PSA available.
	Combinations. You name the combination you want by combining substrates and we will supply according to print. 2 & 3 layer combos are common, but you have to be careful of the adhesives being used. Rubber and acrylics and silicones go on specific substrates.
	Vegetable fibre is excellent for sealing oil and gasoline. Many thicknesses from .004" to 1/4". ASTM 104-87, SAE J 90, MIL G 12803 B accepted. PSA available.
